Justice Gans released his decision in the matter of the Estate of Helen Kates on November 18th, 2020 following one of the first entirely virtual trials in the Superior Court of Ontario. Mills & Mills LLP was proud to have successfully represented a group of 20 charities who will now benefit from the generosity of Ms. Kates in her will following their successful defence of a will challenge application.
