Cassandra articled with Mills & Mills LLP in 2021 and joined our litigation team as an associate in 2022.
Cassandra’s litigation practices covers a broad range of areas and includes commercial and estate litigation, will challenges, guardianship applications, and employment disputes.
Cassandra completed a Master of Laws from Osgoode Hall Law School in the Canadian Common Law Program. She was an active member of the Osgoode Chapter for Pro Bono Students Canada drafting wills and assisting individuals from low-income families with their estate planning needs. Prior to completing her LLM, Cassandra obtained a Bachelor of Laws with First Class Honours from the University of Kent, in Canterbury, England.
Prior to law school, Cassandra worked as a legal assistant in personal injury and accident benefits for a firm in Brampton, Ontario. She assisted the firm with fighting for clients’ rights and needs following an accident, and her work experience solidified her interest in pursuing law as a career. In addition to obtaining her LLM and LLB, Cassandra received a Bachelor of Arts from McGill University. Cassandra was also a very active student-athlete for the Women’s Soccer team. She was a recipient of an athletic scholarship throughout her degree, and received several awards for athletic performance, teamwork and dedication, including Team MVP and designated as the Second All-Star Goalkeeper during her final year. Cassandra continues to be heavily involved in the soccer community and player development around Ontario.
