Laura joined Mills & Mills LLP in 2020 as a LegalShield Associate. Prior to joining the firm, Laura worked in the not-for-profit sector as an Executive Director for an organization dedicated to empowering women coping with addiction issues.
Laura was called to the bar in 2017 after completing her articles with a general practice firm in her hometown of Sault Ste. Marie. As an Associate Lawyer, Laura practiced in a wide variety of areas including family law, small claims court, civil litigation, estate litigation, residential real estate and wills and estates. Laura served on the Family Law Legal Aid Panel, regularly assisting as Duty Counsel before the Ontario Court of Justice.
