Julie Berridge joined Mills & Mills LLP in 2011 as a LegalShield Lawyer.

Julie obtained her LL.B. from Queen’s University in 1996.  She was called to the Bar in 1998.  In 2013 and 2014 she was a visiting attorney in Southwestern University’s online LL.M. in Entertainment Law program completing courses in Music Publishing Law, Theatre Law, and Navigating the Recording Artist through the Entertainment Industry.

Prior to joining Mills & Mills LLP as a LegalShield lawyer, Julie worked as a sole practitioner for over a decade, helping business owners to protect their interests.  She also acted for clients on real estate purchases, business purchases and commercial leases.

Whether it’s advising a music producer or songwriter on contract provisions, helping small business owners on aspects of setting up and running their business, or helping a member get what’s owed to them, Julie enjoys the aspects of the job that allow her to help members in a relatively short period of time. She particularly enjoys coaching LegalShield members through their legal issues while helping them to understand the relevant laws.
